Sectional Industrial Door
Description
The Compact Industrial Door is an industrial door with a difference! Designed using common sense technology to bring a door that can be used in virtually any scenario.
The Compact Industrial Doors primary aim is to replace the use of traditional cumbersome style up and over sectional doors. Traditional sectional doors have numerous drawbacks however none more obvious then maintenance and space requirements. The Compact Door has been created to address these issues.
The architectural and construction industry is changing and with these changes come a higher demand for insulated door products that offer value for money. The Compact Door is constructed to the highest European standards for both quality and safety. Due to its patent folding opening and closing system the Compact Door can fit into any build. Stacking directly above the door lintel the Compact Door requires from 410mm of height and only 90mm left and right of the opening. One of the main benefits to the Compact Doors operation is less moving parts and the exclusion of counter balancing weights & springs therefore offering a more reliable and robust Commercial Door to the market.
The Compact Industrial Door has been engineered to allow contractors, planners and architects the freedom to design their projects with out restrictions.
The Folding System
The patented folding mechanism operates using minmial energy. The folding action effortlessly moves vertically through galvnaised rails with the use of self greasing nylon bearings. The result of this unque movement is that the Compact Door offers an extremely high life-cycle and very relaible commercial door.
The Insulated Panels
Lightweight aluminium sandwich door panels are reinforced with the use of "U" sections at either end. The panels are offered in a stucco design and are assembled with stainless steel hinges. Each solid panel is 610mm in height and 40mm thick with U - Value of =0.76W(m2K). The Compact Door is suitable for full vision panels, vision sections, louvers, mesh systems and wicket doors.
Functional Application
Due to the Compact Industrial Doors minimal space requirements planners and building layout can benefit. Traditional Sectional Up & Over doors can impact on the layout and planning of interior building services i.e. Sprinkler systems, lighting layout, window positions, interior plant such as cranes, hoist etc.
Construction Materials & Schedule savings
To install 1 Compact Industrial Door only 90mm of secure grounds is needed left and right. No supporting structure across the lintel is required and absolutely no secondary steel work or load bearing braces are needed for complicated tracks.
